The F-35 has a lengthening history of crashes. Different reasons. Not good to train with F-35 jets hundreds of times a month in a city.
What kind of Vermont leader would order or facilitate F-35 training in Vermont’s most densely populated area? The Vermont Senators and Congressman. The governor. The Burlington Mayor. The Burlington City Council. The Adjutant General. The Wing Commander. The Inspector General.
A deeply failed system.
Write or call your public servants and demand an immediate halt to F-35 training in cities.

I also live in a city that is regularly overflown by very noisy USAF F35s. That city is Norwich, England (urban population 213,166). The F35As are flown by the USAF 48th Fighter Wing, 495th Fighter Squadron, who call themselves "Valkyries" (motto "mala ipsa nova" = "bad news itself"), based at the Lakenheath US airbase in Suffolk, England.
US B61 nuclear weapons are being reintroduced to England, at Lakenheath. The last lot of US nukes were removed from there, and from England, in 2008. Now, we are getting US B61-12 nuclear weapons, which, when delivered by F35s, will be satellite guided.
They can also deliver cluster bombs, which are banned by the Cluster Munitions Convention, which has been signed by Britain, but not by the US.
We have had two demonstrations against this, at Lakeneath, so far, organized by the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND). We will be planning further demonstrations soon.
The list of people below are all guilty of letting the F35s to be able to train in our most populated area. Lynn Kabot
