Industrial Manufacturing Business Owner Speaks Out about F-35
F-35 perpetrates harm on business, jobs, children, climate, and housing.
PG Adams, Inc. has been manufacturing truck frames across the street from the Blackhawk helicopter hanger at the north end of the runway in South Burlington Vermont since 1968. Owner Ashley Adams is our guest on the latest episode of Skywatch. She talks about the F-35’s destructive impact on her employees, tenants, children, climate, and housing. She excoriates public officials who have failed to do their jobs to protect the people and the planet. She lauds members of the public who participated in the successful campaign against the airport expansion last year. Watch the episode here.
Ashley Adams will be speaking at the “Wake Up, Step Up Climate Rally” outside Burlington City Hall on Monday, July 24 at 6pm.
A resolution is up for a vote at the City Council meeting after the rally that calls on the Air Force, the Vermont Air National Guard, the Governor, the Airport Director, and City Councilors to work together to draft a specific plan to halt Vermont Air National Guard aviation greenhouse gas emissions at the Burlington International Airport in South Burlington by 2030.
Write or call your public servants and demand an immediate halt to F-35 training in cities.
