Insulating won't solve F-35 problem
A Winooski resident already has insulating windows, and it does not work
I received this email today 11/1/2020 2:27 PM from a Winooski resident who authorized me to post it on her behalf
Dear James,
Thank you so much for making this effort. I am frustrated by the recent reports about the deal to provide money for insulating and sound-proofing, as if this solves the problem and now the issue is no longer relevant. It doesn't solve the problem AT ALL. I live in a modern condo building and even with the highly insulated windows closed, the noise is often deafening. It goes on and on, at entirely unpredictable times, including at night. And the planes fly right over our heads--the smallest error or technical problem could land them on any of the buildings here in Winooski. This is the most densely populated square mile in the state.
So...once again, thank you. I hope this effort produces some tangible results.
Susan, Winooski
