Live Debate - This Thursday! Meet the candidates and bring your questions
The South Burlington City Council candidates will debate live in person in the Auditorium at South Burlington City Hall (180 Market Street) this Thursday, February 16th at 5 o’clock in the evening.
Or join virtually at: https://meet.goto.com/SouthBurlingtonVT/candidateforum02-16-2023.
Bring your questions, show your support, and connect with your future city counselors. I hope to see you there, either in person or online.
For a preview of my housing platform, here is the latest ad, soon to appear in The Other Paper. As you will see, the F-35 training in our city crushes safe and affordable housing. It’s not just painful and intolerable. Not just illegal and immoral. It is also an affordable-housing killer. As practiced here, right in the working-class Chamberlin neighborhood and over Winooski and Burlington, the F-35 training is also class and racial injustice on steroids.
But we, as a city, have the power to protect our people and their homes. If only we will use it!
Write or call your public servants and demand an immediate halt to F-35 training in cities.
