I wish I could be with you tomorrow, but I probably wouldn't get a US visa.
We are also protesting against the F-35s of the USAF 48th Fighter Wing , based at Lakenheath, here, in England.
We intend to deliver letters to the US embassy in London, soon. demanding the removal of US nuclear weapons and climate-wrecking F-35 jets. Then we will have more demonstrations at the Lakenheath base.
We want all of our countries to scrap nuclear weapons and sign the TPNW. We also want the US government to respect the Cluster Munitions Convention, (which has been signed by Britain), and to stop storing illegal cluster bombs in Britain. We want the US government to respect the rules of the NPT, and stop transferring nuclear weapons to non-nuclear countries, such as the Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, and Germany, and we want all governments to stop wrecking the climate, including by burning 22 gallons of jet fuel per minute in uselessly destructive fighter jets. - and we would like the US and UK governments to wean themselves off of their economic addictions to endless wars.
