And we still haven't seen their Emergency Response plan, have we? As in: what is the plan if there is a crash on take-off or landing? At the airport, in the flight path in a residential area, disrupting I-89 or VT-15 or any other main road? On top of Winooski High School? Into the river? Etc etc etc.

They must have an Emergency Response plan, and wouldn't that be covered by FOIA? I would think that publication of the Emergency Plan would scare the shit out of people, to understand what the scale/scope of a crash would be. Yes, mass casualties, and our hospital can barely withstand an AMTRAK wreck at this point.

My point being that even if there is no nuclear attack, what's the plan?

Army veteran (JAG), familiar with weapons, the law of war, contracting, etc. While I do not agree with every point, I do strongly object to locating a herd of F 35 warplanes in a densely populated area. I noted back when this travesty began that, in addition to the earsplitting noise, they have made the BTV into a legitimate target. That said, any local exercises should include mass civilian casualties.
